After being to Fitness First for three times now since joining the membership last Thursday, I just realised today two rather odd and could possibly irritating arrangements at Fitness First IOI Mall – busy personal trainer schedule and also possibly inexperience trainer; no towel provided to members throughout the workout. Towel is only provided to Gold Fitness First member of which required at least ten months of active membership or paying additional RM20 a month for the towel.
When asked why was not highlighted in the first discussion while I was joining also neither this information was stated in the contract when I signed. Will be bringing this up to Fitness First team for them to review this.
On Saturday, I got a call from the personal trainer A asking when I could come by for my first session, I informed the trainer A that I could only make it between 0630 – 0700 and I want to avoid the evening crowd. Well, trainer A sounded rather ‘green’ in the training business when I asked what we will be doing in the first session, he could not answer. Therefore I contacted the salesperson that I signed the contract with and she got another trainer B to contact me. Well, the appointment has been arranged.
I also commented to the salesperson that Fitness First only contacted me a month after I registered online on my interest to join the club, and was explained that online system was corrupted.
Well, since this is the nearest club around where I stay and work, I shall observe continuously whether fitness come first, or me come first.
