Numb, Nay. Seriously.

Fantastic performance – Linkin Park Live in Malaysia

The concert was first reported in June, and Retna informed me about it.  I was kind of excited as the last LP Live in Malaysia, about 10 years ago, I did not go, mainly did not want to pay the super expensive ticket price.  Anyway, since I have proven to my family that I am really a LP fan (although I can not sing all their songs), I gave it a go.

I got the VIP ticket, hoping with the LP Underground membership, I could join the meet & greet session (well, obviously I did not), I left my pass at home.  Ok, to be precise I actually do not know where our former helper had placed my membership tag and other LP merchandise.  Ok, maybe they are with her now in Philippines, seriously, perhaps.

I finished a meeting at client’s office at 4:30pm and then Retna drove me to Bukit Jalil, and arrived there about 5:30pm.  The loading bay A for the VIP entrance only opened at 7:30pm.  However, although the queue was really long and 3 persons cut into my line (without apology of course, but I cursed them silently, which includes… bla bla bla).  I got into the venue in less than 5 mins.  Guess what, we have to wait until 8:40pm, about 1:10hours (many repeated TVCs of Malaysia Tourism, Ford, Etiqua etc) before we got LP endorsed PowerTheWorld.org initiative which was the major highlight from all the other TVCs we have seen.  Also, the last few songs played, before the concert began was by Beastie Boys, in honour of MCA.

Chester came in inviting all the audience to jump with him.  Many did, including me.  After a while I noticed only me and a few others remain jumping.  An older auntie next to me kept looking at me when I was jumping.  She was either concern if I am going to fall on her or she thought while jumping, I may accidentally touch her.  Ok aunt, relax, I came for Linkin Park, not girls.

Also, Malaysian audience or whoever on the VIP zone were not all excited about jumping.  Maybe older folks.

I was glad to jump as FitBit registered all my movements.  So glad that I achieved my daily 10,000 steps today just watching Linkin Park concert LOL.

You can refer to many other blogs and news sites for the list of songs sang by Linkin Park.

Let me show you what I got on a pictorial tour.

Official Tour Merchant. All LP t-shirts going at RM90 per piece. I prefer Apple, Steve Jobs kind of tee, so no need to guess. I did not buy any.

Since I do not have the LPU pass, I decided to walk about, taking pictures of what was going on outside the stadium.
