We missed Jackie dearly. For some months, we do not have any pet nor dog neither cat at our home. We kept the space for Jackie. Kind of like reserved for her. We did not touch much of the house where Jackie loved to sleep, when we were doing the home facelifting some months ago.
We are not the best pet owner around, probably not even on the same level with the neighbours who will take their dogs for a walk daily, and taking the dogs to poo at some other people’s house front gates. Well, we kept Jackie at home, she loved being at home, sometimes, we took her for a ride in our car. She loved to stick her head out of the windows, her favourite.
She passed on.
All beautiful memories stay.
Some day, we hope someone will remember this dearly.
Olga, some kind soul found us this standard poodle. She is lovely in nature, playful and eventful etc, sometimes mischievous. However, she is not Jackie. Just like human being, no one can replace anyone. One can fill in the gap, but to replace, no.
Let’s talk about Olga.
She has been with us for coming to 2.5 months, such an adorable dog, and an adopted daughter of our twins. They did not take care that much of Jackie in the past, but with Olga, they do their best.
Every night she is sleeping in their room. She watches tv with them, watches them doing their home work, running on the treadmill etc.
Let’s cherish what we have at all time, present, future.
Nothing stays forever, we will be gone some day. Why worries what would be next?
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. ~ Matthew 6:25-26
