Sometimes, money does not speak. Especially at places where Malaysians are not welcome. We are treated that way not because we scream, talk loudly, rude, behave badly but simply because we are Malaysians.
While the country is promoting the tourism, encouraging more visitation to Malaysia, the operators are obviously not keen to entertain the locals.
That was exactly how we felt and treated when we were at Ye Olde Smokehouse, Fraser’s Hill.
The servers were rude, insisted us to sit outside, where the place was wet and drizzled.
We were ushered to a table of which was small, then someone else took it because they were Singaporeans.
Then, we were given the table back, because the Singaporeans and Mat Salleh were ushered to VIP section, of which we were told closed earlier.
Do not bother to come here, if you are Malaysians.
