Not easy to be famous

天安家香面
天安家香面

I read about 天安家香面 Traditional Noodle by Tian An in yesterday Sin Chew Daily, I suggested to Retna that we should have brunch there.

We drove from Puchong to Jalan Padang Rengas, Taman Kok Lian, Jalan Ipoh to try out this outlet.

Upon arrival, we saw a queue to enter into the restaurant, of which we could not find any place to sit.  The owner was quite fast, and he set up a table for us, and we ordered bitter gourd vermicelli with fried eggs, stewed pork with Shanghai noodle, sweet potato noodle, Thai bean curd and fried dumplings.  All the items landed on our desk except the first dish, of which the owner totally forgot about it.

However, we were there for 2 hours just to have the few dishes, with each dish almost 30mins apart.

The owner told us that Sin Chew Daily reviewed the restaurant few days ago, and as the coverage appeared, the restaurant, the whole place is packed.  As we could see it ourselves.

While the noodle is great, 2 hours for a meal, no thanks.

This reminds me of Hokkien Mee aka Prawn Noodle of which I had it with Retna last year.  The owner jokingly told me, to wait 2 hours for his noodle.

If the meal is that great, I think the owner needs to figure out ways how to make sure he could handle more, when the demands increase.
