“What if there was a place you could go where there was no TV? And whoever you were sitting with was family?”
That was the line by Peggy while she was preparing the pitch for the Burger Chef. I kind of like the idea of no TV, as most of the restaurant tend to have TVs on, of which the kids would be starring on the screen instead of having conversation with the parents.
Rather irritating? No?
Putting it into current context, most kids would be busy with mobile phones, tablets which would take the attention away from the parents. Most probably the food too, they may not know what their parents have prepared or ordered if they eating out.
Thank God in our family we do not have this problem as our kids will not have such spoilt situations of which they will not have the chance to talk to their parents.
Anyway, our kids love and enjoy the session with their parents. They know that the meal time is the time their parents are relax after a long day of work.
Why would parents sacrifice that time with their kids, seriously, a big question mark.
