Called it bad luck or careless or whatever. I received a torn RM5 note while I was buying stuff in the wet market. I did not check the change returned, so ended up with this reject wherever I was trying to pass this note to.
There is also very little information available on Bank Negara Malaysia website as how I could exchange or what should I do when I received a note like this.
I sent an email to Bank Negara Malaysia asking for assistance. Got a reply, big deal, but disappointed after as it was an acknowledgement about receiving my email, will be replying me in 5 working days.
I also contacted the Bank of England asking about the old pound sterling notes I have, which to my surprise the reply came in about 12 hours, on top of which with solutions to my queries.
Is that why there are more billionaires in London, than anywhere else? They seems to work really efficient and constructively.
So, anyone is suggesting to move there?
Wait, or someone will say, if you do not like here, move out la.
Or some will also say, you pay more taxes there, that is why the services should be better.
I remember sending an email to Singapore Ministry of Education asking about having kids to study there, guess what, I got the replies in less than 2 hours, with suggestions and where else I could get more information.
I tried the same with the local district, no one reply the email when I asked about the availability of schools in Puchong. When I called, thought would give these officers a chance, guess what, they are always away for khusus.
With so much trainings for the government officials, one knows we should be getting the world class services in return.
