Ok Guys, no doubt, Android as an operating system is dominating the world, with more than 60+% around the world, probably even more depending on the country.
I think Android will continue to be the operating system of choice for mobile devices simply because of – choices.
There are just so many devices running on Android being launched every month in Malaysia.
Just in this month alone, we have all the major main brands to make their phones available in Malaysia, prior to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus availability.
Although the delayed of new iPhones coming to Malaysia may have disappointed some (me too), but well that should not be an issue for Apple fan boys and girls to get their hands on the new iPhones, if there is a will, there will be ways. Often, more ways than not willing to try. Just be prepared to pay for premium.
So, after reading the Nexus 6 specs, it is impressive.
Based on the measurement by many news outlets, it seems larger than iPhone 6 Plus.
This would be the continue trend for a while, everything will be 5.5 inches onwards, anything smaller than that, would not be a popular choice for the consumer.
Will I get myself a Nexus 6? I bought the Nexus 5 2 years ago, and now it is a paper weight sitting in the office, accompanying me when I need something to hold all the papers together.
Our sons have been lobbying me to pass this Nexus 5 to one of them, however, we are moving the sons onto iOS, with one son on board now, not very happy because he could not do many things that he could with an Android. Ok, some form of restrictions and controls are required with teens.
Coming back on the question. No.
It costs more than the previous Nexus 5. That is the major draw back.
However, I am rejoicing for my friends in @MyMobileFest, especially those loving Android and hating Apple.
