Pariah Magic Mouse

Earlier this year, Apple replaced my MacBook Pro with Retina Display faulty screen.  Even it was out of warranty.

The team leader informed that it is an appreciation towards my great support of Apple products.

Yep.  I bought so many Apple products until I have loss count.  Thanks to the occasionally helpful support team from Apple, whom reminded me on that.

However, I guess that is going to change.

Bought a Magic Mouse in January this year.  Since I work in the office desk often.

Just few weeks ago, the mouse began to behave really badly.  It is not going where I wanted the mouse to go.

The mouse pointer has its own idea of places to go to.  Certainly not mine.

I contacted Apple support and was told that I could send it in to the service centre and then expect to get a replacement unit on the spot.

The helpful customer service even gave me a case ID and location to get this done.

Well, after many days, I have sent in the mouse, with no replacement.

Neither it could be repaired.

The technical team from the Apple Authorised Service Provider just told me, awaiting next instruction from Apple.

So I called the Apple support again today.

Guess what, after I have been put on hold for 20 minutes, I was told that there is nothing Apple could do for me on this other than to pass me the authorised service provider contact, and told me to follow up with them.

You see Apple.   I thought your service is seamless and effective.

I did not expect to be passed from one end to another.

If that is the case, I should have not passed the Magic Mouse over, but to destroy it.

And never buy anything, anymore from Apple.

Apple, you have changed.

You no longer comes with great products and service, as it seems to have faded away.

Sigh.
