Heard so much about the best beaches in Western Australia, when we arrived at Perth, we took the chance to see it ourselves.
There is nothing beats being there, right?
We were deciding between Rhode Island or Cottesloe Beach, well, I dislike ferry, so we chose the later.
To our surprise, it was actually only 20mins drive from the Perth CBD.
Cottesloe is famous for its swimming, surfing, Indian Ocean sunsets, lively Sunday sessions and world-class annual sculpture park exhibition.
From the Western Australia tourism website, I saw that the site saying many eateries around this beach. Anyway, saw some, but we better with food we brought, well, we travelled to Perth with Malaysian Ringgit, which is 3 times lower than Australian Dollar 🙁
Spotted fish and chips, but did not have it, as we had such great fish and chips at Melbourne when Joan brought us there. We missed Joan and her new born baby as well as Melbourne.
Just like most public beach, there will be a place for the visitor to change, bath as well as to store the baggage. Cottesloe has that too.
Our twins changed in the public toilet and then they were off to the beach together with Inez.
They did not swim deeper to the sea, as the wave was really strong. The life guard in duty warned us not to as well.
So, Inez and twins had the fun time of their life just hanging out at the beach as well as chasing the waves.
If you do not like to swim in the sea, like me, could always take a walk at the beach to enjoy the wind, sea breeze and of course the company of many Australians, who enjoy life.
It is a beautiful place, I strongly recommend a visit here, when you are in Perth.
