Two weeks ago, we attended a dinner hosted by OCBC Premier Banking, and many OCBC partners were there to showcase their services and products. The most talk about – none other than the BMW i8, which was on exhibit for the customers to take picture with. I did not. I dislike BMW.
We visited Leica booth, which showcased pictures which tell stories about the places, people, issues etc. A gentlemen from Leica then shown me some of the Leica camera models, which I have heard of, but never try before. I tried the higher end model as well as the compact models.
The gent called Haniff was going through the history of Leica, its uniqueness as well as why people buy Leica.
And, to cut the story short, I bought my very first Leica, which is a compact camera called D-LUX.
It is simple to use and in fact the pictures taken have been impressive, although some I did not take them with much light and low aperture.
I guess the skills may improve as time goes by as well as more practices.
Here are some of the sample shorts taken with Leica with no editing.
Will share more.
