Ayam Brand launches the first charity campaign for Brunei, and we are all excited to be in Brunei with the Ayam Brand team to work on this campaign together. It is also the first time for me to meet the Ayam Brand team there.
We are glad the event went well with the great coordination from many aspects – the venue, logistic, people, charity organisation, food, ingredients etc. There are just so many things could go wrong, you know, Murphy’s Law. Thank God, all went smoothly.
And I spent majority of my work week in East Malaysia, or famously known as Borneo. I met interesting people, couple etc outside of my work circles. I am sure gonna miss all of them and looking forward to meet again soon.
A fun-filled hands-on event was held in Bandar Seri Begawan for members from participating charity organizations; Learning Ladders Society Learning Centre, Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam and SMARTER Brunei. The campaign in Brunei will benefit 120 children and adults alike across these three charity organizations.
The participating children learnt how to prepare four Ayam Brand dishes in a fun and interactive session that was specially developed to suit people of different ages and abilities; namely Mixed Fruit Salad, Baked Bean, Heart Shaped Sardine Sandwich and Tuna Onigiri under the guidance of Ayam Brand representatives.
The recipes were created by the Ayam Brand team, with a focus on nutrition and convenience. Eaten together the Ayam Brand Bento box is high in protein from the tuna, sardines and baked beans. Protein intake is essential as it builds, maintains and replaces the tissues in your body. Ayam Brand pineapple chunks and peach slices, sweet corn and baked beans, provide crunch, sweetness, fibre, and essential vitamins.Fibre is important as it helps maintain bowel health as well as lowers cholesterol levels.
