Prayers for Our Children

I was asked to pray for the children in the Cinnamon Home Fellowship earlier, and after the prayer, I realised that I have missed out some of the key elements in the prayers.  Shall share them here, and commit them as prayers.

I pray that the children would acquire the wisdom from God on their own up bringing.  May God grant the children the wisdom on what to do and how to think when the parents are not with them.  God to give the children a sound mind that able to evaluate the good and bad, right and wrong, as well as ability to differentiate harm.

Protect the children wherever they are, let them be safe at all time.  Keep them away from any hands that consists evil plans or wicked plans.

Humble themselves, learn to respect the elders and willing to share knowledge and knowing with their peers and even those that are younger than them.

Removes the barrier between the children, especially the age gap as well as looking down at one another.  Let they build a strong unity.

Encourage them to pray for themselves as well as praying for others.  Gives them the ability of communicating with God, ability of hearing God’s instruction, direction.

Let them have a heart of compassion for others, willing to serve and willing to assist.

God, help them to make the choice in their lives, for every life is precious.
