However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace. ~ Acts 20:24
I have been suggested of all sort of ideas from everywhere about how I should react to situations. Then I was reminded of what God always spoke, and how He has loved us all this while – with His grace. One of our sister-in-law is named Grace, whenever she comes to our house, I always felt the presence of God’s grace.
Some might say, “It is impossible to live the way God wants one to be. Just because the world is not like that. We go with majority.” I remember one of the Sunday School teacher shared the Gospel of Jesus, where the road to destruction is easy, but the road to Jesus is winding and narrow. By the way, I asked the children about this, they remember it well.
We all have sinned, that is why we need His grace more and more. We need Him to forgive us for what we have done, ask for forgiveness for what others have done to us. Is it going to be easy? Only God knows.
Although I might disagree with some of what Pastor Sim shared on Sunday, as it seems to be a series of sermon that leading to something else, but I believe that God wants everyone to have the same grace that He has, or try to have one.
I know that when some day it is time for me to return home, God will check with me on the following taken from 2 Timothy 4:7 (one of our son favorite pronunciation when he learn to speak):-
> Have you fought the good fight?
> Have you finished the race?
> Did you keep the faith?
Have we?
Have a blessed week ahead!
