‘Books Auction’ by Anita

Anita (our children’s cousin from Johor Bahru) brought three bags of book to be shared with the younger cousin through an auction style. She first showcased the books available to all the young ones, then she started to bring them out one by one. There were about six cousins presence during the ‘book auction’.
If there were more than two cousins bid for the same book, then she will evaluate who would need the book most. Off course she would also encourage the cousins to share the books among themselves, like a book exchange.
It is Retna’s family tradition to encourage children to read, one of the thing that I have observed about Retna’s siblings, no matter how busy they are, they would read. Their reading is not only limited to newspapers, but to books.
Good way for the children to start the Chinese New Year, bravo idea from Anita.
Anitha was the auctioneer but Sasha & Harwin were the original owners of the books.
