There is Joy in the Garden

Chinese New Year is just around corner.  Our Home Fellowship – Cinnamon planned a blessing outreach project for Joy Garden [the old folks home section of House of Joy, Bandar Kinrara] on Saturday, January 10, 2009. 

Poh Beng and family reached there first before Lor and us.  Eric and family joined us slightly later.  

Quite an exciting drive from Puchong to Semenyih, about 45km and estimated arrival of 35 mins.  Smooth drive all the way and we passed by Semenyih Memorial Hill and later Nirvana Memorial Park.  

The programme agreed with the home taker was to have some fellowship, praise and worship and followed by Ang Pow, before proceed to lunch.

Thanks to all contribution from the members of Cinnamon Home Fellowship.  

What was lunch?  Hainanese Chicken Rice by chef Lor, off course. 

While waiting for the chicken and rice to be ready, we started with praise and worship.  

We ended the praise and worship with a Chinese New Year song – Gong Xi Gong Xi and the members began to distribute the Ang Pow to the folks at the home. 

The outreach blessing project ends with the lunch and much fellowship after.
