Ever wonder doing good cause for the environment not necessary getting good immediate return in terms of money. In the recent air-conditioner selection process – we thought of being environmental friendly, setting criteria such as energy efficiency, release non harmful gas to the surrounding and ionizer (since we are using the unit indoor for long time).

Panasonic Air-Conditioner with Inverter technology and ionizer
The conventional air-conditioner unit is at least RM500 to RM700 less than the unit that required the above.
From the feedback received in the market, we sort of been informed inverter technology air-conditioner requires different piping as well as skill to install. However, during the installation, the process and procedure seems pretty much the same. Except when the technician came over for support for the first time as one of the unit refuse to work. Then realised there was a leakage of air.
I then remember another encountered we had while searching for another car. We thought hybrid is the way to go since again it is environmentally friendly. Currently only two hybrid models available in Malaysia – Toyota Prius and Honda Civic Hybrid.

Impressive dashboard that display the battery level
I have nothing against Prius, as it is a great car, but the design is kind of like not appetizing. So checking out Honda Civic Hybrid, later found out the power of the engine is lower than the regular Civic which starts at 1.8.
So looks like to embrace on environmental friendly approach, one got to pay more for less. Agree?
