UOB print ad that also came with TVC

My mother and brother kept this print ad appeared on StarBiz in 2001 – an ad by UOB on its PayOnline service.  I was one of the talent, together with Gary, later became very popular with 8TV launch.

This ad was done in the creative director’s home in Petaling Jaya.  The TVC was done in a bungalow of a very well known photographer attached to National Geographic at Bukit Tunku.

Although my mother kept this print ad well, but she forgot to bring it along to her new home.  Well, we went over to the old house to clean the place on Sunday, my brother found this clip and immediately put it into his bag to bring to new home.

I was approached by a talent agency for this job and I took emergency leave with my bosses at SKALI that time.  They were kind enough to approve the leave application.

The TVC shooting took more than 12 hours to complete.  Upon which Retna was self-driven to Pantai Medical Centre, Bangsar and did the self-admitted after non-stop bleeding while pregnant with Elijah and Ariel, our precious twin sons.  Until today, I still felt sorry and bad for not being able to accompany her to the medical centre at once, which could possibly triggered the miscarriage.  However, praise the Lord, Retna and the sons were well.

That was the first TVC and second print ad that I was featured as the talent.  Since then, I did not receive such offer.
