I have done 3 books of SOAP daily devotion embarked by our church, Full Gospel Assembly KL, I think 2 or 3 years ago. The SOAP daily is a Programme started by Pastor Wayne, Hawaii.
Sometimes I write it to my journal, sometimes I blog the devotion here. So, today, I will share it in my blog.
Reading from Book of Habakkuk 1,2 &3. Prophet Habakkuk was distressed to see God’s prophesy, as everything also bad, or getting worse. Politically, as corrupted as current time or perhaps worse, people were wicked and I am not sure whether people were holy to God, and their love ones. Towards chapter 3, Habakkuk prayed to God with change in situation. However, towards the end of his prayer, he said,
The Lord God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.
To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments.
He did not give up hope that God will change the situation. We should too.
I pray that God will show us His vision, may His work be glorified. Let us be ready to do His will. Equipped us Lord with skills, knowledge, patient to persevere. We know it cow,d be easy with Your blessings. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
