I remember that I used to hate it when the school passed me the donation card. I used to ask my father and mother to help me to fill up the columns of the donors. However, often it was my mother who helped me, by giving me RM20, and then we started to fill in the Ah-Chu, Ah-Kow, Ah-Lee etc.
Our sons have been tasked with one donation card each yesterday, for 18th Annual Charity Walk/Jg/Wheel-A-Thon with the Disabled, an event organised by Spastic Children’s Association of Selangor & FT. The event takes place on November 13, 2011.
They spoken to Retna about their plans on how to walk door to door to ask the neighbors to donate. They left home at 5:30pm, and came back at 7pm, with only 5 columns to fill, out of 20. For the first timers, I think they have done pretty well.
Besides getting the donations, they also have learn something very important, breaking the ice with the neighbors and, putting their pride away.
Praise the Lord, for He teaches them. Amen.

Amen – such resourceful young men!
