I personally got to know Jerome Kugan, many years back, while Retna and I attended a poetry session hosted at a cafe in Bangsar. Other than food, there is something else I like about Penang – the arts. While we were driving out of KOMTAR for work, we passed by The Hin Company bus depot which used to be a place for bus company to park and repair the buses serving the Penangites, like some 60 or 70 years ago.
