I am sucker for Bellroy
I bought in total 6 Bellroy wallets, with 1 as a birthday gift to our brother. I am not fancy user of wallet. I have been long time using TUMI leather wallet, which I bought when I was in Japan for the first time. It lasted for many years. Prior to that, I have been using wallets from Marks & Spencer. I discovered Bellroy by chance, through online ads. I bought the Hide and Seek, which I still have the wallet until today. Then I picked up cycling, I opted for something could keep my phone as well as function as a wallet. Later, I found that I wanted something…

Lisa Hannigan ‘Swim’ in Sydney, May 2017
While we doing minor planning for our trip to Sydney, I noticed we have 1 night that was free, and I checked around what to do, and we decided to pay a visit (again) to Sydney Opera House, this time, for Lisa Hannigan.

If You Need To, Keep Time On Me. Fleet Foxes in Sydney
We have been listening to Fleet Foxes since 2008, by chance. I was listening to Indie folk recommended by one of the online magazine. We fell in love with White Winter Hymnal the first time we listened to it. I still remember, I was playing it on my Mac, and after a while, my colleagues told me, I have played the same song like 20x. Ragged Wood is another song we listened to it so often, that we could sing the song the whole day. Elijah could also sing Motezuma when he was 5, and he loved to sing it whenever he played with Ariel. I guess the song really…

Malaysia Airlines Business Class on A330
We were in Sydney recently, and want to share my experience on the Malaysia Airlines A330. Malaysia Airlines (MA) has upgraded its aircraft to A330 with new but weird business class seating. Weird because it is really uncomfortable if you are seated in seats, mainly the windows for couples as well as towards the end. The MA seriously does not think too hard how to justify the extra money passengers need to pay. 1) There is basically no dedicated lavatory for business class, unless the crew ‘locked’ one of the premium economy lavatory for the business class passengers. I think whoever decided on these layout seriously fail to think really…

The hottest
It is hot. I mean the weather in Malaysia at the moment. It was also hot when we were in Perth. It did not take us any preparation to get use to the weather when we were there. Why? Because Malaysia is generally hotter than most places in the world. Except Middle East, right?

Love Art, Love Art Gallery of Western Australia
A happy Retna. She walked into the Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA), the first thing she saw and got really excited – Niki de Saint Phalle’s Black Beauty Nana Series, available in Perth. Amazing. She told me, “It is so exciting and so happy to see one of Niki’s work in person. I have read and seen many in the internet, magazines, seeing one of his work, a great opportunity of a life time.”

Stromatolites, Existed Billion Years Ago
Lake Thetis, a saline coastal lake, situated at a small town, Cervantes, about 11km away from the beautiful Nambung National Park, where The Pinnacles are. We took a short drive to Cervantes after the car we hired was running out of fuel. In some parts of out skirt of Western Australia, when it is out, it is really quiet, like you are all alone, in the place. No one else passing by, even though The Pinnacles could be a tourist packed place.
