catching up with my good friend, mr samuel tan @hi_samueltan based in KL, a quick stop here doing his PR stuff. A post shared by Adi Zulhazmi MS (@uncle.chong) on Aug 2, 2016 at 8:42pm PDT It is great to catch up with friends abroad, and this time round, I met Adi Salleh and his lovely family. • Second Visit to Brunei

Both the trips to Brunei have been work related. The last round when I came here, we organised a media briefing for the client as well as to attend a Royal Banquet afterward. This time round, after the work schedule been cleared out, I did not head back immediately, but decided to stay for another day to learn and explore the country a bit. I went to Jame’asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque alone and was told I could not enter into the mosque as Thursday and Friday, it prohibits the non-Muslim, as not to interrupt the Friday prayer. Even though I am a Christian, I love the architecture and arts aspects of…

And I spent majority of my work week in East Malaysia, or famously known as Borneo.  I met interesting people, couple etc outside of…

When client given us a choice to select the suitable venue to host the press conference, the Brunei counterpart suggested The Empire Hotel & Country Club and Sheraton Utama Hotel.  We approached both the hotels, until today, officially only Sheraton has replied, in fact almost instant response from Mathew of Sheraton.  Additional information required was also been addressed in the subsequent few e-mails and phone calls.  Bravo to Sheraton Utama Hotel. So when Adiman of BARA suggested Harry and Suk Ling to visit The Empire Hotel & Country Club, my impression on Empire was rather on the slow side, since there is still no response on the request we sent.…

When I first encountered passport expiry duration issue with AirAsia while trying to board on the flight to Brunei, I remember KT commented that the authority might not want to shock me that I would not want to return to my home country after knowing the price of the fuel. The passport issue was overcame with the very fast response of Malaysian Immigration Department Subang, I renewed my passport in less than two hours and I was then on the next flight to Brunei with The Royale Brunei.  Also special thanks to Ravi and Michael for speedy response in helping me to secure the seat timely enough before the press conference in…
