• 🖕🏻Spotify

🖕🏻@Spotify @SpotifyCares #spotifypremium #spotifyfamilypremium — Samuel Tan 陳思量 (@hisamueltan) February 9, 2018 Got annoying emails from Spotify to my dear wife as well as the twins, asking them to rectify their addresses. I mean, for such suspicious email, you think anyone going to click it? So upon discussion, we decided not to reply to such email, neither we are going to click it. Guess what, Spotify removed the twins and my dear wife from the Spotify Premium for Family, because they did not response. I mean WTF Spotify. Spotify was (notice ‘was’ here) collecting money from me every month, without fail (auto debit), and instead of asking me (which I…

  • Basilica, after watching Angels and Demons

I have watched the Angels and Demons, a movie adaptation by Dan Brown, whom our family, majority not a fan.  We read because it is entertaining, but I must say Mr. Brown is very creative and imaginative.  You can not be a writer who makes money without having both. So when we arrived at the Basilica, the feeling is so great that I could see the place, like D-place, which I have only thought of seeing it from websites and pictures.  It is amazing.  We are here. The St Peter Square is seriously huge, to cater for the crowd gathering. Where as the Basilica, just like everywhere else in Vatican,…

  • Oh Holy Night, Good Food, Company and Time

We seldom cook at home.  Like probably never. Correction: Actually Ariel, Elijah and Inez do cook at home, when we are away for work or we worked really late, they will prepare their own meals at home. So when we thought it is time for me and Retna to cook at home, nothing beats the right timing than Christmas. We invited Grace, Vishaan and Vainavi over to our home for dinner as well as to get together. We took turns to prepare the meals, mainly some dishes required more time than the others. Mine dishes require shortest time, as I used the Thermomix to make them.  Where as for Retna,…

  • Having a pet at home

By now you would have known that we are currently fostering a toy poodle belongs to my mother in law, whom at the moment is recovering from her fall happened some months ago.  It was a bit of a challenge for her to take care of Manikam during this time. So, since Manikam was a gift from me and Retna, we decided to take him back for now, until our mother is ready to have him back. Manikam, a 2 year old toy poodle, we found him through a friend, when our mother decided to have a pet to live with her. The process of finding him was like God’s…

  • Talking about ambition

I wanted to be a pilot.  I seriously wanted to.  However, I failed the computer game test.  All right, I suck on the computer games ok. So, wishing and thinking about becoming a doctor.  Well, too much competition and I did not get the grade which allow me to apply for the scholarship.  Also, my parents do not have any property to get rid of to pay for the expensive medical degree overseas. I just decided to do what I like to do and could make a living instead.
