• Lain kali lah.

Sigh. Confirmed from sources that iPhone 5S Gold for sure will not be available on the launch date as well as any time soon in Malaysia. Well, next time then.  Just another 1 year to go for iPhone 6 to come. Or opt for Android, BlackBerry or Windows, perhaps?

  • The Apple Oct 22 keynote [yawn]

After a really nice dinner prepared by Retna, I was talking to kids, while Olga was running around and then I fell asleep….  When I woke up, it was close to 12am, which I then had a shower, read for a while, then all ready for the Apple Oct 22 keynote, in anticipation of what Apple would be launching.

  • Mavericks, iLife, iWork

Good morning. If you watched the morning keynote (probably you did, just like many of us), and you are a Mac user, you may have received the above (screen) on your App Store this morning. There are new stuff for updates such iLife, iWork, which are coming for free now.  BTW, the free is subjective as it is only applicable to new Mac and iOS devices purchased. So head over now and update them.

  • Finally, Moves for Android

Moves, the physical activity tracking app for iPhone, today makes its way to Android. Android users will now have access to simple and beautifully designed Moves that has been downloaded over 2.5M times since launching in January. “We believe Moves is the most popular activity tracker available as we’re tracking over two billion steps every day,” said Sampo Karjalainen, Designer & CEO, Moves. “It is very difficult to beat the price and convenience of having the activity tracker in your phone. You simply download the app and leave it to track your daily movements. There’s no need to buy, charge, carry and sync one more device.”

  • FitBit Flex Part 1 > How It Looks

Decided to break the review of FitBit Flex into few parts, perhaps 3. How it looks, the hardware App, how to use it Functionality, practicality Let’s start with the hardware. Honestly, the packaging is not really impressive.  It just looks like another mini speaker packaging, one I remember I bought some time again.  In fact the packaging of SOLRepublic is much nicer than FitBit Flex.

  • iOS 7, Sir Jony, Craig, Apple Team

I was planning to watch Mad Men episode 11 last night.  However I fell asleep while watching Sesame Street podcast on Apple TV with Inez.  She was enjoying herself and I was deep asleep. However, I woke up because the TV was on at 1:50am, and guess what, I decided not to head back to bed, but to watch the live streaming of Apple WWDC Keynote.  Most companies should learn how Apple does its live streaming of events, so well done and nothing complicated, at least from a viewers perspective.

  • MetaWatch Now Supports Gmail Notification

Sometimes, it is better be late, than never. MetaWatch developer team releases the latest updates to its MetaWatch Manager app on iOS on February 16, 2013.  This update came to me when I was at a church service. Updated it immediately and the ‘separation line’ bug has been removed.  And Gmail notification is now available on MetaWatch.  It is not really a push notification, but rather pull, every 15 minutes. Looks like the Twitter and Facebook notifications are up next. And still no sign of the running, cycling to be incorporated into MetaWatch. Well.
