            Sometimes, we travelled so far for great experience.  Neglecting what are the places and experiences that may be so close to us. Have passed by Dengkil many time while on our way to the airports.  Never stop to look at this little busy town, so we decided to have a look at it on the New Year’s Day. It was about 20mins drive from our home.   • Visiting Older Part of Rawang (for the first time)

    Have been wanting to visit the older part of Rawang for some time, actually as long as my mother has moved there with my brother. Never had the chance, mainly my brother constantly told me that the direction heading there was jam, under construction etc. Well, I managed to convinced him to show us the older part of Rawang, today. We drove passed the Jalan Welman, which is a busy part of Rawang Town, filled with many Indian outlets, which prices are comparatively cheaper than Brickfields.  What a surprise.  Perhaps,  most people would have head to Brickfields for stuff related to Indian custom, Diwali etc.  Good that we dropped by…

  • Pleasant Dinner

    Retna has been telling me about this place, and we have relied on Waze for the location, as well as Apple Maps, some how we could not find the exact location Restoran Mei Yen, which is well known for its Hokkien Mee (dark soya sauce, not the prawn mee like in Penang) as well as LaLa (clams) soup. While relying on Waze to guide us, it actually took us to Kampung Medan, and Apple Maps brought us to the same location as well.  We find no Mei Yen nor alike at Kampung Medan.  Seriously, that is the wrong place to setup a non-Halal food outlet.
