• #GE14

The people has spoken, chosen the new administrator for the nation, on the historic May 9, 2018 general election of Malaysia.  The result was announced from May 9 till May 10.  Most Malaysian would have stayed close to the telly from May 9 to 10.  Me and Retna included.  The Singaporean media like Channel News Asia was producing some serious good quality news reporting. Then the whole Malaysian waited for the new administration, swearing in of the new prime minister.  We watched that with major anticipation, as the time kept delaying, of course finally the whole process was done, more announcements from the new prime minister. #GE14 let everyone see…

  • Getting to know the candidates, part II #GE14

I added the column on messages, which I could find from the candidates or through the interviews they have given to the media. For some, I still could not get much, but roughly, I get to know more about the candidates. Toh Sin Wah – A rather long and kind of confusing messages or tagline from Mr. Toh.  Malaysians must repent, rethink, refresh and reform to truly achieve 1Malaysia.  I am no expert in politic, 1Malaysia is a generic term used by prime minister and his cabinet, no?  We have drafted speeches for the ministers, with Salam 1Malaysia.  Ok, maybe Mr. Toh thinks we are not really there as…

  • 1st visit to art exhibition

We have been to National Arts Gallery with the twins, they were fascinated with the artworks, met an artist whom invited them to join him to continue the artwork together, which later to be stopped a security personnel. Sometimes I wonder if security personnel dictates the arts scene, here. Anyway, due to a recent work arrangement, we used a private art gallery for a media event.  The owner of the gallery met the twins during our setup, thus invited them to an exhibit which is named, X Canvas.  And we went.

  • Meeting Android and Updates on webOS

First thing first, I left my camera at work so picture taken from the recent Android and Web OS with enthusiasts were by my BlackBerry Bold 9700. The meeting was organised by palmdoc (Alan’s famous nick in the cyber arena, especially for his fondness on Palm) at Old Town White Coffee, Subang USJ on Saturday, March 6, 2010.  I arrived at the meet slightly later as coming from Klang after a client’s CSR project in the morning and post event shower was urgently required before the smell overtook Android and webOS. Some background, Android is the mobile operating system by Google and webOS is the new mobile operating system by…

  • Tasty Food but Down Service @ La La Chong

Upon arrival at Subang Airport from Penang, Retna suggested to have dinner at La La Chong as she craved for la la.  We arrived there at 2010 and found a car park close to the drainage, of which highly smelly. Took about 15mins before someone attended to us for order taking.  The place was truly packed even on a Thursday night. The food took another 60mins to come, which was 2125.  By the time we completed the dinner, it was about 2225. One thing for sure is that the place requires skilled worker especially if it charges slight premium price at a kampung attap house concept, the staff was unable…
