• Great Car, With Services To Be Desired (Much)

A compact car, is highly suitable for the city usage.  We are working in a sub urban area while many meetings and media events are being held in city centre.  So having a car which we could move about, is crucial. Deciding on the car was easy, not to get any Japanese, Malaysia nor Korean. Locked down some models – French, German and in fact quite a few Germans.  However, went with French instead. This was where the decision could have been re-routed, if given a choice.

  • Driving Around Perth

We rented a car in Perth, since we were planning to drive around Perth or at least its vicinities during our annual family vacation. I could find cars for rent on Expedia but the booking process, just let me put it, so, tedious.  I hated it. And then I went to car rental company instead, and the process, was easy.

  • While considering another Citroen, consider this first

Praise the Lord, the police report verdict is out.  We will be compensated for the fault caused by one of the careless drivers in the accident. We have sent our car to Brooklands Motors for the repair as well as the insurance claim (from the third party covered by the driver’s policy).  The car sent in without any problem, until we received a call from Kim Foom, which is the Brooklands Motors panel of repairs, that the claims will be on our policy as they were unable to find the document provided to them.  In fact Kim Foom mentioned that there were no document when they received our car. While…

  • Accident waiting to be happened, now happened at Ladang Harcroft

Thanks to whoever sent me these pictures.  Probably the first road accident happened on the main road leading to SJK (C) Ladang Harcroft this afternoon. According to witness, a school bus came down from the school heading fast and then knocked onto a Perodua Kancil and then a Proton Wira. The Kancil was standy still probably, heading to fetch students from the school and the Wira was heading out from the school. some readers of the blog would have noticed the regular tweets that I sent about how fast some parents drove when going up as well as coming down from the school. I do not have the information about…

  • Do Not Leave Child in the Car Alone

It only takes 8 minutes to kill a child in the car with temperature of 40 degrees in the car. This is quite common among parents who normally double-parked or simply parked their cars and left the little ones in the cars, while they attend to their business.  Although many incidents had happened in the past, but parents continue to leave the children in the cars.  Thanks to the research done in Australia published in China Press. Adult too could die under that circumstance as well. Good advice to parents everywhere including Ladang Harcroft.
