Visiting iconic A&W (soon to be demolished)

Some history seems rather good ending or progress to better next level.  However for some, it will remain as history, without progressing any further.

In this case, A&W PJ Drive Through outlet, which will be demolished in December this year.

Last Saturday, we had a @MyMobileFest Oktoberfest meet at this iconic fast food outlet. 

I was growing up in Cheras, so this not exactly my childhood kind of place, also my parents seldom brought us to PJ area, unless work or family related stuff.

I remember this place used to be such a wonderful place to be, I love the waffle with vanilla ice cream on top, which we brought our sons there pretty often, like once a week while we were staying in Taman Desa.

The service was slow and the place always packed at night, also it was the first, I think, the 24 hours fast food joint in Malaysia.

Also, we were here a few times for friends’ children birthday celebration.  Including my nephew and niece too, a few times being done here.

Other than waffle, I do not remember anything that I like about A&W, oh yah, its rootbeer.
